On Friday, November 13, 2015 a terrible tragedy occurred in Paris, France. Acts of terror left 129 dead and over 300 people injured. In the face of this horrid event, Parisians rallied together, initiating an open door policy with the hashtag #PorteOuverte. Croix-Rouge Francaise (the French Red Cross) responded immediately on Friday, placing 340 volunteers around the city to support victims, their families, and all of the people of Paris affected by this horrible incident.
